About

Destiny Christian Center

On February 22, 1998 Destiny Christian Center began from a dream and a vision given to Bishop Giddens while sleeping in a hotel in Chicago, Illinois. In the dream, God told Bishop Giddens, then Evangelist Giddens, to come to a desert town near a military base in California where he would establish Destiny Christian Center.

We are a non-denominational, multi-cultural body of Believers.

Mission

Destiny Christian Center is founded on the Doctrine of Christ: “Therefore leaving the principles of the Doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God. Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment”
(Hebrews 6:1-2).

We believe as 1 John 5:7 says, “For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”  We also believe that “The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues. But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will

(1Corinthians 12:7-11).

The mission of the man and woman of God of this house is for the perfecting (maturing) of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect (mature) man, unto the measure of the  stature of the fullness of Christ; that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ

(Ephesians 4:12-15).
