Jesse J. Giddens Jr is the presiding Bishop and overseer of Destiny International Ministerial Alliance (D.I.M.A.), a fellowship of churches and ministries. He is also the Pastor and Founder of Destiny Christian Center in Victorville, California. Destiny is a non-denominational, multicultural, progressive body of believers.

 

Bishop Giddens received his formal training from Speak the Word School of Ministry and the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, a Masters of Divinity, and he earned a Doctorate of Ministry Degree in June 2005. Along with graduating from Sonship School of the Firstborn in 2007, he is currently the Dean and President of one of the Sonship satellite schools in California. 

 

His life has been transformed and he is forever grateful for the leadership and mentorship of his Spiritual Father, the late Bishop Nathaniel Holcomb, who recently transitioned to be with the Lord and his Spiritual Mother, Pastor Valerie Holcomb, who continues to make an incredible impact in his life. One of his greatest honors was to have been a support to his pastors by serving as a Presbyter in Covenant Connections International (CCI) for over 12 years.

 

He has been married to his lovely wife, Halene for over 36 years and from that union they have two children, Brittney and Jonathan. Besides being a devoted husband and father, while leading his congregation, Bishop Giddens travels the country preaching the life changing Word of God.
